Woon is one of our all-time favorite homestyle Chinese restaurants neighboring LA's historic Filipinotown and annoyingly hip Silverlake. We often dream about their chewy noodles and five-spice chicken wings.

This is Woon owner Keegan's grandma's favorite Shanghainese drinking snack, passed down to his mom, "Mama Fong." A blend of in-house roasted peanuts and dehydrated, roasted sea moss. Once you try them, you'll never want another cold, crisp beer without them.

We recommend serving these in a bowl to share and having something nearby to wipe your hands with.
